Dr.Arthur Kimani - Executive Director

An environmentalist & Business person with adept community development. Enthusiastic on management, policy formulation and state of the art technology on sustainable mobility, Agriculture, Environment, Conservation and renewable energy. Awarded the Moran of the Burning Spear(MBS) by the President of Kenya for Environmental Efforts. Also awarded the Head of State Commendation (HSC) by the President of Kenya for Exemplary work in Sports and Environment Management. A Tree Ambassador - Total Oil Company through the prestigious Eco-challenge Campaign. Under his leadership, Green Africa Foundation has managed to plant over 20 Million trees over the last 10 Years, setting a record. Endeavors to passionately create opportunities for sound green businesses to smoothly venture in Africa.

John Kiloi -CEO

As the CEO, has seen him conduct successful Research on the impacts of Climate Change on key thematic areas that informed the Kenya Climate Change Act, Facilitated several extensive grassroot sensitization and consultation meetings on Climate Change and the Climate Change Bill. Recently appointed by the President of Kenya to be a Member of the National Climate Change Council. He has a Master of Environmental Studies (Climate Change and Sustainability) from Kenyatta University. By his exceptional Leadership, personal initiative and total dedication to Environmental Conservation and Climate Change issues, Mr. John Kiloi has added value to many lives at grass root levels and to the country’s development agenda through issues that addresses Sustainable Development Goals and Vision 2030 and Sustainable Energy for All.

Patrick Okello - Programs Director

A solution Provider in the field of Environment and climate change, committed to positive transformation. He got an in-depth understanding of Climate Change issues, Project Planning and Management, Policy advocacy, Community Sensitization and Awareness creation, Resource Mobilization, Work plans Development and Projects Monitoring among other diverse fields of experience. Has served diligently in designing and executing successful series of environmental projects both in his past and current engagement at the National and Grass root level. He has seven years’ experience in Project Design and Management. Patrick Okello has a professional background in Environmental Planning and Management, and additional Environmental Governance.

Aloyce Mulware - Project Manager

Sharon Khadi - Advocacy

She has pursued an Environment and Community Development degree at Kenyatta University and earned a Certificate of Excellence in Project Design, Monitoring and Evaluation from the Project Development Academy USA. She has served in different capacities in the successful implementation of projects in renewable energy in schools and rural communities, policy advocacy on climate change adaptation and mitigation and environmental management at Green Africa Foundation. She is passionate about low carbon development and has been a champion for Non-Motorized Transport and renewable energy. Gladys has engaged extensively in climate change and environmental governance at the Counties, National and International arena. She worked with the Kitui County Government in the development of the Kitui County Charcoal Management Act 2014, participated in the development of the Green Economy strategy and implementation plan 2016-2030 and has participated in international conferences: COP 21 in 2015, Paris and the United Nations Sustainable Development summit in 2015, New York. In 2014-2015, she was a youth fellow at Communication For Change (CFC) in Norway. She has also been proactive in youth led advocacy on climate change and youth employment issues in her voluntary work at African Youth Initiative on Climate Change Kenya (AYICC-K) and the African Youth Panel (AYP). "I am self -driven and seek to utilize my knowledge and skills in dynamic situations and environments to achieve set objectives and for resource optimization for sustainable development. I am determined and enjoy new challenges and experiences for learning to enhance personal/interpersonal, academic and career growth" she says.

Michael Malonza - IT Technician

An expert in all things web technologies with an excellent background in IT Support and software management. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology. A professional Web developer, Techie, open-minded and willing to explore beyond his knowledge. Passionate about environmental conservation. Great projects support and implementation skills.
